The Earth: Weather, Environment, Geology, Demographics

Nowadays, "Going Green" is a buzzword companies use to make the public believe they have care of the environment in their best interest. Few do; most do not, and typical of the business world, it is a marketing tool to fool people into spending their money. Unfortunately, even the very organizations and especially government agencies that are being paid with our tax dollars to protect the earth and her web of life do little to nothing to stop the atrocities being committed by big corporations and their wealthy leaders. In fact, many of them are even involved in the crimes. Even many non-profit activist groups are not exactly what they claim to be, nor doing what they claim to do. This is especially true concerning the most blatant and heinous crimes being committed: that of spraying the skies with toxic substances in an effort to "control the weather," and who knows what else. This is not only creating non-stop extreme and violent weather across the entire globe, but it is killing off plants, animals, the oceans, and taking a terrible toll on trees.

And while the weather manipulation issues are an enormous segment of urgent threats to the Earth's ability to support life, numerous other factors are in the process of destroying the only place we can, at least at the moment, call home. HAARP (High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) in Alaska is a disaster waiting to happen as scientists "play with" the Earth's protective layers, bouncing them with extremely potent electric frequencies. Add to that, EMFs Wi-Fi, microwaves, and "smart" anything and it is obvious that the planet is being used for massive "experiments" that threaten our very lives.

And add to that, all the poisons that those in power try to feed us or inject in us, such as GMOs, vaccines, and flouride. But perhaps the one area where we humans are the most ignorant, and may prove to be our demise sooner than any of these other factors is overpopulation, and that is something over which we have complete control, but refuse to recognize it as a problem. It is a mathematical certainty that when the population reaches capacity (and we are nearly there), Nature will take control, and the human population will be wiped out, or severely culled. Dan Brown wrote an excellent novel, Inferno, on this subject. It is listed below and highly recommended reading.

But not everything found on this index is dire. Here you will also find books on rocks and minerals and earth's natural formations, and fiction that uses these subjects as a theme. That can include earth fantasy environments. Enjoy these books, and please do your part to take care of the only planet we currently have available on which to live.

One other note: I will not include books here related to storms upon the sea, because most seafaring stories include weather disasters. Those may be found on the Pirates, Seafarers, Travel by Water Index.
