All the books on this page pertain to insects or microscopic creatures. That can be coloring books (lots) or art books with pictures of insects. Some coloring books depict realistic insects and others are fanciful designs created with them. And you may not believe it, but insects are a theme in many fictional stories and even plays. And of course, all non-fictional books on these tiny (or not so tiny) animals are here, too. Some people think insects are creepy or scary, and others love them. I adore spiders. I think they are one of the coolest animals alive. Some are very beautifully colored or patterned and their webs are a work of art. I'm not too fond of ants or wasps, however. And who doesn't love butterflies and dragonflies. Years ago, I bought egg cases of a green species of praying mantis. I was blessed to be there right at the moment they emerged! What an amazing experience! The green ones have crossed with my native brown ones, and I often find half-and-halves. When I do, I always carry them into my greenhouse. They devour other insects that are pests. I hope you find insects as fascinating as I do. Enjoy these books and images!
