Dover CD-ROM and Book

Text Box with description of Book

These Dover books with CD-ROM are a great investment! I started buying them to find authentic color guides for Dover coloring books, this one in particular for the Aztec Designs Coloring Book. While the pictures are not exactly the same, (I have since found other Dover books that do contain some of the exact pictures), this one gives a good overview of the colors used by these peoples. One of my favorite uses for the CD-ROM is to create lively wallpaper for my desktop which I change frequently. The pictures in this collection are little (in other words, not a whole painting or work of art). I like the "tile" feature best for this type of design, because you can create a repeat pattern. (You can resize any image by double-clicking on it, which takes you to the edit screen. You could blow an individual picture up to fit your whole screen, if you wished.) This collection contains both colored and black-and-white images, which can be used for all sorts of creative projects. Here are a few examples. If you mouse-over any image, you will get the page number from the book and the image number from the CD-ROM to make them easier to find.
