Dover Coloring Book

Text Box with description of Book

This is a fun and intriguing book! Each techy-looking design is also a mirror of itself, both vertically and horizontally. That causes trickiness in making sure both sides match, because you have to think upside down! I found myself drawn to lots of metallics and pastels as I chose my color schemes. Most of the images are complex, although there are varying levels of complexity. The one pictured above on the cover is quite complex. That coloring page was the last one I did (page 23) and I included it in my examples, although I chose a five-color scheme of black, white, red, silver, and gold. It was difficult to decide which pictures to post because they are all so cool. I finally picked the following seven, from pages 7, 8, 12, 19, 23, 27, and 28.

page 7, crayon

page 8, pastel crayon

page 12, black and neon crayon
